The other week I got the honor of appearing on Rainbow Town Radio in Tokyo, Japan. I was asked to talk about my compositions and future dreams for Japanese traditional music. In Japan, every season has a reason to hanami (the custom of enjoying viewing flowers) but spring is particularly beautiful. Most people look forward to the sakura or cherry blossom trees, but they aren't the only flowers to look forward too.
